Applications are invited for the post of Academic Officer (Management) at Cluster Innovation Centre,University of Delhi on contract basis for a period of one year.
University of Delhi has set up a Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC), which has initiated its activities in association with Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILL). The B.Tech. /BS in Innovation with Mathematics and IT has been launched in the academic session 2011 – 12.
The Centre envisages to set up a multi-level futuristic interaction with industry, NGOs, government institutions, and academia. Therefore, there is an immediate requirement of a person who can develop a liaison and communication between CIC/ILLL and different organization & sectors, which are in sync with the objectives of CIC. The person is also required to coordinate administrative work of CIC/ILLL for smooth functioning of this Centre/Institute. It is pertinent that the person should have proven managerial and communication skills so that a smooth administrative linkage is set up between CIC/ILLL and other academic/administrative segments of the University of Delhi.
Apart from handling issues related to the management of the CIC/ILLL, the Academic Officer (Management) will also be involved in monitoring and management of various operations affecting the life of the students of the University and its colleges in significant ways. The Vice Chancellor may also assign the person any other responsibility, as and when required.
Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduate degree in any discipline.
Administrative Experience: Minimum of 10 years of working with government organizations, international agencies, NGOs, etc in a similar capacity. Experience in the preparation of budgets, knowledge of finance and project management.
Desirable: Knowledge of a foreign language.
