* Number of vacancies : One
* Project Title : ” DNA Computing based on Splicing Operation” in the Electronics & Communication Science Unit, Kolkata
* Qualification : Post graduate degree in any of the following disciplines: Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Molecular Genetics/Molecular Biology.
* Desirable : Minimum 02 years experience in wet-lab experiment necessary for DNA engineering.
* Pay : Rs.16,000/-
* Tenure of Appointment : The appointment will be till 31 March 2012 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/teminated earlier, depending on availability of funds & performance of the candidate.

Age as on 01st August 2011 : 35 yrs
