Recruitment of Clerks and Peon in Tariff Authority – September 2011

The Tariff Authority for Major Ports, a statutory body under the Ministry of Shipping, invites applications for filling up the following posts on direct recruitment basis as per the details given below:-
1. Lower Division Clerk

•  Qualifications :  i) Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised Board or University. (ii) English Typing speed of 40 words per minute or 30 words per minute in Hindi Typewriting.
•   Experience : Acquaintance with word processing.
•  Pay Scale : Pay Band of Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
•  Age Limit : 18-25 years.

2. Peon

• Qualifications :

o Essential : Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised Board or University.
o Desirable : Three years working experience as a messenger / Peon in a reputed organization.

•  Pay Scale : Pay Band of ` 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/-
•  Age Limit : 18-25 years.
