Indian Oil requires 225 Engineers through GATE -2012

Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)
  • Number of vacancies : 225
  •  Qualification : BE/ B.Tech in Civil, Chemical , Computer Science and Information Technology/ Electrical/ Instrumentation / Mechanical / Metallurgy. Graduate Engineers from these disciplines, desirous of taking up a career with Indian oil, are required to appear in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2012. Short listing candidates for interview and further selection process, will be based on GATE-2012 scores.
  • Age : Maximum 26 years, relaxation as per rules.
  • Pay : Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend Rs.20000/- per month and Engineers/Officers Rs.24900/- per month. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, they may be appointed as engineers.

  • Receipt of Printed Version of Online Application at respective zonal Gate Office : 24 th October 2011
  • Downloading of Admit Card from GATE 2012 Website : 2nd January 2012
  •  Indian Oils Application Module to go Online : 2nd January 2012
  • Last Date for Applying to Indian Oil : 11th February 2012
  • GATE -210 Examination (offline ) : 12 th February 2012
