Job Details:- Karnataka Health Promotion Trust invites applications for the post of Junior Statistical Analyst.
Qualification : Minimum master’s degree from a recognized university with specialization in statistics/Biostatistics/Mathematics, or any relevant specialty such as, demography, or epidemiology with an acceptable number of courses in statistics. Working knowledge of using statistical packages, Atleast 1 year experience in doing statistical analysis, especially in the area of health, Experience in Epidemiology and demography is an asset, A team player accustomed to gracefully working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of concepts, methods, data sources and data uses as applied to large national, regional and state level databases related to HIV in particular and health at large Knowledge in the development of training modules for different statistical and epidemiological methods,Ability to plan, develop and conduct analytical studies using survey, census and administrative databases,Ability to standardize large databases, write codebooks for the data, conceptualize analysis plans, skills in developing composite indicators.Above position demand excellent computer skills, communication skills and working experience with Govt, NGOs & Development sectors. Preference will be given to women candidates who have similar experience.
